Arborists and Time

Setting clear time frames for tree work is crucial, whether you're securing a job, specifying tasks without fixed deadlines, or relaxing a completion date. Recently, TCAA had the opportunity to peer-review reports from an AQF5 arborist and noticed a recurring issue — time frames were often listed as 'ASAP' (as soon as possible).

Why is this a problem? Using 'ASAP' leaves too much room for interpretation. Clients might claim budget constraints or other factors that dismiss the urgency of the tree’s condition. Without clear, defined deadlines, critical tree work can be delayed, compromising safety and proper care.

It's a reminder that precision matters. When it comes to tree work, clarity can make all the difference.
